This exploration of the changing nature of the Canadian military culture includes a special emphasis on the effects of 'Americanization.' Of interest primarily to Canadian military policymakers, both civilian and non, although non-civilian readers will likely be familiar with a fair amount of the material in the initial chapters. English served in the Canadian Armed Forces for 25 years and is affiliated with the Canadian Forces Leadership Institute and the history department of Queen's University.
