The four sub sectors of the Indian software industry, the IT services and exports sector, ITES exports, product and technology services and the domestic market will make progress in due course of time. These segments are expected to develop widely, which will attract a large amount of employment and growth of the economy. These segments will influence Indian exports as well, as the domestic market increases the standard of living of the people. Software industry has created high employment opportunities in the parallel market as well. This impressive growth of the software sector at the country levels are high but in the global level, share of the software sector is only 0.5 percent. Now, India should take the initiative to tackle the himalayan task of exploiting the market in the global level.
