Henryk Sienkiewicz

Prozaik polski, tworzący także pod pseudonimem „Litwos”. Urodził się w 1846 roku w Woli Okrzejskiej na Podlasiu, zmarł w 1916 w Vevey w Szwajcarii. Studiował prawo i nauki filologiczno-historyczne w Warszawie, współpracował jako reportażysta i felietonista ze stołecznymi gazetami – m.in. „Niwą”, „Słowem” i „Gazetą Polską”.
